Cooperation with EssKultur, a fine dining restaurant in Hannover

Perhaps not many people know that I am also a passionate amateur chef and therefore very interested in good food. My wife and I visited a new fine dining restaurant called EssKultur near our home and were absolutely thrilled with the food, the atmosphere, and the team. 

One evening, I had the idea to write to them and ask if they would be interested in having their own song. I see good food as an art form just like music, painting, dancing, or whatever. 

I love the creativity and passion behind every menu. So I thought, why not connect a song with a restaurant and vice versa? They were excited about the idea, and it turned out that I didn't have to be careful at all when writing the song. On the contrary, they wanted the full broadside. While I thought I would write something more mellow, they were more into rock, hard rock, alternative, or metal. 

It was a lot of fun to bounce ideas back and forth. They gave me a few keywords to work with, and the result was “UNDERDOGS.” A really cool song to party to!!!
